Problem Note 63042: A Resource label for a relationship in an XML import is more than 50 characters, and "…ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)…" occurs

In SAS® Business Data Network, the Resource label for a relationship for a related business term in an XML import is limited to 50 characters. If you import a file that contains a Resource label with more than 50 characters, you see errors that are similar to the following:
### Error updating database. Cause: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)
### The error may involve com.sas.svcs.dm.businessdata.server.mappers.ITermMapper.insertRelatedTermAssociation-Inline
### The error occurred while setting parameters
### Cause: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)
; SQL []; ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50); nested exception is org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)
### The error may involve com.sas.svcs.dm.businessdata.server.mappers.ITermMapper.insertRelatedTermAssociation-Inline
### The error occurred while setting parameters
### Cause: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)
; SQL []; ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50); nested exception is org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(50)
The workaround is to ensure that you use no more than 50 characters for a Resource label.

After you apply the hot fix, the character limit for the Resource label is increased to 100 characters. The hot fix is valid for SAS® Business Data Network 3.2.
